PayPal in December

After a long wait, PayPal, the most widely used online payment processor for sending or receiving payments internationally to freelancers, will be launched in Bangladesh in coming December. This was stated by Salman F Rahman, Private Industry and Investment Adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, during a visit to Walton Factory on Saturday, October 23. IFIC Bank Managing Director M. Shah Alam Sarwar, Private Secretary to the Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Zahidul Islam Bhuiyan and others accompanied him during the visit. On arrival at Walton's factory in Chandra, Gazipur in the morning, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited Vice-Chairman SM Shamsul Alam, Directors SM Rezaul Alam, SM Manjurul Alam and Sabiha Jarin Arna and Managing Director and CEO Golam Murshed welcomed Advisor Salman F Rahman with flowers. Gazipur Superintendent of Police SM Shafiullah Shafiq, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mamun Sardar, Deputy Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Humayun Kabir and Alamgir Alam Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director of Walton DG-Tech Industries Ltd. Executive Directors Col (Retd) Shahadat Alam, Uday Hakim, Tanvir Rahman, Anisur Rahman Mallick, Firoz Alam, Yusuf Ali, Mohsin Sardar, Mostafa Nahid Hossain, Al Imran, Amin Khan and Yasir Al Imran, President of International Business Unit Edward Kim, Executive Directors Shahzada Selim, Abdullah Al Mamun, Shahjalal Hossain Limon, Mohsin Ali Mollah and others were present on the occasion . During the visit, the Prime Minister's Private Industry Adviser toured various manufacturing factories of Walton including metal castings, compressors, refrigerators, air conditioners, LED televisions, computer-laptops, mobile phones and various home appliances.
